Kennedy Book Store is the #1 bookstore in Wildcat Country. Privately
owned and operated, Kennedy’s has served the University of Kentucky community
for over fifty years. We maintain the area's largest supply of used textbooks
to help students save money and buy back books every business day. Kennedy’s
carries textbooks for law, allied health, and independent study disciplines as
well as Bluegrass Community and Technical College textbooks. Our general
book section includes study aids, test preparation guides and technical
handbooks.
Kennedy Book Store has the corner on Big Blue Spirit,
with more University of Kentucky clothing, gifts and souvenirs under one roof
than anyone else - worldwide! We have a separate facility dedicated to art,
engineering, architecture and interior design supplies. Our Greek Shop has a
wide variety of sorority and fraternity apparel & novelties. Kennedy’s
carries computer software at academic prices, computer books and assessories.
Store hours vary, depending on the season of the school year. Please check our
Store Hours box on the home page for current open/close times. We gladly accept
all major credit cards and the UK Plus Account. Other services include a mail
drop, postage stamps, custom framing and fax services.

Kennedy Book Store is located on the corner of South Limestone Street and
Euclid Avenue, surrounded by the University of Kentucky campus. There is plenty
of FREE PARKING in the front and on two side lots.
Directions to the store are: From I75, take Exit 115, Newtown Pike, into
Lexington. Take Newtown Pike several miles until it runs into Main Street. Take
a left on Main Street. Stay on this street as it curves by Triangle Park on the
left (with fountains) and the Hyatt Hotel on your right. Go to the fourth
traffic light and take a right on Upper Street. Go approximately four and 1/2
blocks until Upper and Limestone Street merge. Take a sharp left back onto
Limestone. Kennedy's will be on the left corner, approximately one block.
